Communities: Implementation of a New, Unique Distance Delivery RN
Partnership in Eastern Oregon.
Cascade East AHEC
has taken steps to adapt and transform nursing education curricula.
They created a distance-learning program for rural Oregonians
interested in a career in nursing.
Eighteen
students from six communities were selected for the pilot program.
Help is provided starting with the pre-requisites online, to
personal help either over the phone or traveling to the student.
