2008 Oregon Federally Certified Rural Health Clinics Report
This paper updates and builds upon the Certified Rural Health Clinic paper released by the Office of Rural Health in 2005. This report updates benchmarks and policy information from the 2005 report by asking for the same survey information requested in 2005. It also provides time trend analysis from the 2005 Report and from the 2001 Oregon Primary Care Association report on RHCs. In addition to updates, this report provides new information not captured previously.

This chartpack presents new information on the sources of supplemental and prescription drug coverage among Medicare beneficiaries in 2006, the most recent year for which national data are available. It provides the first detailed look at the characteristics of beneficiaries, including the under-65 disabled population, with various sources of drug coverage in the first year of the Medicare Part D drug benefit. It is based on analysis of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey 2006 Access to Care file.

The Rinehart Clinic invites visitors, friends, and neighbors to join with the Clinic in providing medical care to all in our community. "One way people can help is for people to support our fundraising activities.  Our fireworks booth and The Rinehart Clinic Sand Dollar Auction are fundraisers that help to provide care to patients who have no medical insurance or prescription drug coverage."
